Organization

The Community Action in Development and Research (CADER-Ghana) is a Secretariat for member based Forest and Farm Producer Organisations established in 2010 and registered under the company name COMMUNITY ACTION IN DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH (CADER) incorporated under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179). The secretariat is taking steps to subsequently register with the Department of Social Welfare as a voluntary non-for-profit organization.

The organisation is also a centre for research and policy making in some priority areas identified in line with the vision, mission and core values.

Operational Office

The operational office, that serves as the secretariat of CADER is in Lawra and is headed by an Executive Director under the supervision of the executive committee which is made up of elected members of the groups.
