Our Objectives & Mandate
The main objective of CADER is to continue to develop its internal organizational capacities to be able to support its member groups to develop their internal structures and capacities regarding farm and forest activities with an empowerment model that focuses on:
Blended financial services that enable women improve on their income situation through VSLA and therefore broaden the sources of their household's livelihood and food security;
Objective 1
Women-inclusive advocacy and business services to forest and farm producers for livelihood improvement and climate-resilient landscapes
Objective 2
Entrepreneurial and productive skills development of women which seeks to enable them make efficient use of the financial services access to higher markets
Objective 3
Support to accessing social and cultural services such as women access to fertile lands and support for minority groups in the districts, support women in accessing social protection services in an integrated manner that is relevant.
Objective 4
Climate change resilience and adaptation measures for women and men to adjust to the changing climate appropriately.
Objective 5
Landscape management and restoration and biodiversity conservation practices among farmers, local authorities, women and youth.
Objective 6
Promotion of green environment and preservation of indigenous nutritious crops that are becoming extinct within the locality.
